SPRING 2021 INTERNSHIP

The African American Mayors Association Virtual Spring Internship is a fifteen-week, paid program which offers undergraduate students an opportunity to learn and navigate the functions of local government and non-profit operations. Interns will assist with policy research, social media maintenance, and other day-to-day assignments. To apply for the 2021 Spring Internship Program, application materials must be sent electronically as noted below. Please submit all application materials below in a single email to aama@ourmayors.org no later than November 27, 2020.

Program Eligibility:

• Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program 
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4-point scale) 
• Selected participants must be available for the entire program from January 11- April 26, 2021
  

Interests/Areas of Study: Social Sciences/Liberal Arts; Public Service; Law; Government and Business Administration; FinanceMajors in all accredited disciplines are accepted and encouraged to apply.
